LazyCats® Licensing Policy

‍Effective Date: January 18, 2026

This Licensing Policy governs the intellectual property rights, permitted usage, and restrictions for all LazyCats® products and services, including Ready-Made Websites, Custom Webflow Systems, Monthly GrowthOps Retainers, and SEO + AI Packages.

1. Ownership of Deliverables

Unless otherwise stated in a written agreement:

1.1. Client-Owned Deliverables (Licensed to You in Full)

Upon full payment, the Client receives ownership rights to:

  • The final Webflow website exported or transferred to the Client
  • Custom layouts created specifically for the Client
  • CMS structures, logic, and content models
  • SEO content created by LazyCats®
  • AI workflows and automations developed for the Client
  • Custom code written for the Client
  • All design work that is original and created uniquely for the Client

You may modify, update, or extend these deliverables freely.

LazyCats® retains the right to showcase the project in our portfolio unless an NDA is signed in advance.

2. Ready-Made Websites Licensing

LazyCats® sells pre-built Webflow websites under a Single-Use License, unless a Multi-Use license is explicitly purchased.

2.1 Single-Use License (default)

Included with every Ready-Made Website purchase:

✔ You may use the purchased website for one single project / one brand

✔ You may modify the design and structure as you wish

✔ You may add branding, colors, fonts, or custom sections

✔ You may duplicate within the same Webflow project

You may not:

✘ Resell the template as your own

✘ Redistribute or share it publicly

✘ Reuse it for additional brands or projects

✘ Use it to create derivative templates for sale

If you want to use the same template for multiple clients or brands, you must purchase a Multi-Use License.

2.2 Multi-Use Agency License (optional upgrade)

This license is intended for agencies and creators who want to reuse LazyCats® Ready-Made Websites for multiple client projects.

✔ Unlimited client use

✔ Not allowed to resell as a standalone template

✔ Must credit LazyCats® if used as a foundation

3. Licensing for Custom Webflow Systems

Custom systems (Starter, Growth, Enterprise) include a Full License to use and modify the delivered system for the Client’s business.

However, clients may not:

✘ Resell the system to third parties

✘ Repurpose the system as a product

✘ Copy internal logic for commercial redistribution

Internal reuse inside the same company (multiple languages, divisions, or domains) is allowed.

4. Licensing for Monthly Retainers (GrowthOps)

All work delivered during an active Monthly Retainer is licensed under:

✔ Full Ownership upon payment

✔ Usable for any number of the Client’s internal projects

✔ Transferable to new domains owned by the Client

Clients may not:

✘ Resell LazyCats® components or systems as templates

✘ Repurpose delivered systems for external commercial use

5. Licensing for SEO, Content, & AEO Deliverables

SEO strategy, Schema architecture, AEO-based taxonomy, and written content are licensed as:

✔ Full commercial use

✔ Editable and reusable internally

✔ Transferable within the Client’s brand

However:

✘ Copying Schema systems to third-party clients or reselling them is prohibited

✘ Reselling written content or briefs is not permitted

6. Fonts & Third-Party Assets

LazyCats® may include:

  • Premium fonts
  • Icons
  • Illustrations
  • Stock images
  • Lottie animations
  • Video assets

Important:

LazyCats® cannot transfer third-party licenses we do not own.

If the project requires additional paid assets:

✔ The Client is responsible for purchasing their own licenses

✔ LazyCats® will notify the Client before using any paid third-party assets

✔ Some Ready-Made Websites include premium fonts as a free bonus (license terms included in the delivery folder)

7. Restrictions (What You Cannot Do)

Regardless of plan or product, Clients may not:

✘ Claim authorship of LazyCats® templates, frameworks, or systems

✘ Distribute LazyCats® systems publicly or privately

✘ Convert LazyCats® templates into marketplace products

✘ Attempt to reverse-engineer proprietary scripts or frameworks

✘ Use LazyCats® assets for illegal, defamatory, or harmful purposes

LazyCats® reserves full legal rights to act against IP misuse.

8. Transferability

The license may be transferred only to a brand owned by the same Client.

If ownership of the brand changes:

→ The license automatically transfers to the new owner.

If the Client wishes to transfer a Ready-Made Website to an unrelated third party, a transfer fee may apply.

9. Perpetual License

All licenses granted are perpetual, meaning:

✔ No annual renewal required

✔ Lifetime usage rights

✔ As long as no license terms are violated

10. Termination of License

LazyCats® may revoke the license if:

  • Payments are overdue
  • Chargebacks are initiated
  • Terms of Service are violated
  • The Client redistributes or resells LazyCats® IP without permission

Upon termination:

❗ Client must remove LazyCats® proprietary assets from their systems.
